The Honourable Member representing Mbaitoli/Ikeduru Federal Constituency, Hon. Engr. Akarachi Amadi, has successfully flagged off Day One of the Akarachi Free Medical Outreach at the Ikeduru Local Government Headquarters, Iho, with hundreds of constituents benefiting from the initiative.

The medical outreach, which forms part of Hon. Amadi’s continuous commitment to improving healthcare delivery at the grassroots, provided free medical consultations, drugs, tests, eye screenings, and health education to residents across the constituency.

Hon. Amadi emphasized that the outreach was driven by his belief that healthcare is a fundamental right and not a privilege. He noted that many families continue to struggle with access to quality medical care due to financial constraints and distance, making it necessary to bring healthcare directly to the people.

“Our people deserve access to quality healthcare regardless of their financial status. No one should suffer or lose a loved one because they could not afford basic medical attention,” he stated.

Beneficiaries expressed deep gratitude to the lawmaker for the life-saving intervention, describing it as timely and impactful. Many residents who received medical attention noted that the outreach had brought relief, renewed hope, and solutions to long-standing health challenges.

Hon. Amadi reaffirmed that the medical outreach would continue in phases across different communities in Mbaitoli and Ikeduru, as part of his broader agenda on healthcare, human development, and humanitarian service.

With the successful completion of Day One, activities are set to continue as the outreach progresses, further reinforcing his commitment to building a healthier and stronger Mbaike.
